Commercial and Residential Recycling Services
We recognize that by being in the waste management industry, we have the ability to effect positive change. This is why we are committed to responsible waste removal. We intend to do our part to improve the environment and to reduce air pollution. Recycling is a major part of what we do here at SBC. The act of recycling conserves natural resources and reduces the amount of waste that ends up in landfills. As waste builds up in landfills, it releases pollutants into the air and soil, so recycling is critical for the health of the planet and for the health of future generations. SBC offers high-quality solutions for collecting recyclable materials, including roll-off containers, dumpsters, and stand alone cardboard containers. Our goal is to make recycling as easy as possible, because we know that together we can make a difference.

Demolition Recycling
The demolition process creates a significant amount of trash and debris. A lot of demolition waste can be recycled. We can help you dispose of demolition scraps properly. We also offer a wide variety of roll-off dumpsters to conveniently collect waste during demolition.
Our Recycling Process
After we collect recyclable materials from households and businesses, we transport the materials to a commercial recycling center. This center processes hundreds of tons of non-hazardous recyclables every day, which includes products made from wood, steel, cardboard, glass, plastic, aluminum, tin, and paper.. As part of the process, a state-of-the-art sorter system organizes the materials by type. Sorted materials are then transported on a conveyor system so they can be packaged and sold as raw material. Some materials, however, are not suitable to be packaged. These items are sold in bulk to dealers that resell the bulk items to manufacturing companies.
Commercial and Residential Recycling Creates Jobs
One of the lesser known benefits of recycling is that it creates jobs. The EPA regularly studies the economic benefits of the residential and commercial recycling industry. In 2020, the EPA released a report called the Recycling Economic Information report, which was a follow up to a 2016 report with the same name. The study showed that, in a single year, activities related to recycling and reuse accounted for 681,000 jobs in the United States, as well as $37.8 billion in wages and $5.5 billion in tax revenues.
